CROCODILE:
Within the EU, it has been established that all crocodile skins used by Hermès for the manufacture of its bags come from populations or species listed in Appendix II or, in the case of Appendix I, that they come from farms registered with the CITES Secretariat (source code D). Consequently, vintage Hermès crocodile bags are exempt from CIC, either by virtue of their Annex B status, or by virtue of Article 62.4 of Commission Regulation (EC) No. 865/2006 of May 4, 2006" (CITES Ministerial Edito of 18/06/2018 on the sale without CIC
of vintage Hermès bags).
For exit from the EU, a re-export certificate is required. An import permit may be required in the third country of destination if the national regulations of that country so provide. These documents are the responsibility of the purchaser.
WATCHES: Watches are sold as is, without any guarantee as to the condition of the mechanism. The indication "Works" means that the winder sets the mechanism in motion, and does not imply that there is no need for a general overhaul (untimely stops, lack of precision, etc.).
