SEVRES MANUFACTORY, Louis XVI period. LITRON CUP and saucer in porcelain, decorated with a border of roses, cornflowers, and forget-me-nots on a mauve background with gold accents. Year 1784, painter and decorator Etienne-Jean Chabry, known as Chabry fils (1749–1787), active at the manufactory between 1765 and 1787. Blue enameled manufacturer’s mark, date letter “GG,” and the painter-decorator’s monogram “ch.” H: 7 cm Below (a chip on the reverse side of the saucer’s wing)
