ROLEX AIR KING PRECISION. REF. 5500. PRODUCED CIRCA 1978 Steel wristwatch. Case: screw-down crown and caseback, caseback interior 1002, plexiglass. Dial: silver, applied gold baton hour markers and tritium dots, steel hands, central seconds. Movement: automatic, cal. 1520. Strap: Rolex Oyster ref. 78350/19, EL 557, VC folding clasp (1978) Dial, case and movement signed. Numbered 5'117'693. Diam. 34 mm. CONDITION REPORT : General wear, outside of caseback and middle pitted, case polished. Loose strap. The movement (wear) was working at the time of writing, but cannot be guaranteed. Overhaul to be scheduled and winding stem to be refastened. As with individual components, as repairs or restorations may have resulted in the replacement of some original parts.
