Salvador DALI (1904-1989) for DAUM FRANCE. Vert d'Espagne, 1 - Lot 840
Salvador DALI (1904-1989) for DAUM FRANCE. Vert d'Espagne, 1976. VASE and SOCLE, square form, in two parts, in pâte de verre signed, numbered 34/200 with engraved marks "DAUM" and "made in France". H: 32 cm (small chip on the base of the vase itself, invisible when the vase is placed on its base). This work was created as a tribute to Spain: the ribs of the vase are inspired by the lion's heads on the fountain at the Alhambra in Granada. Bibliography: Nicolas DESCHARNES. Le dur et le mou (Eccart, 2004): reproduced on page 131 under n° 327
