In 1871, war forced him to move to Paris, to 8 Passage de la Bonne Graine, in the 11th arrondissement. In 1866, Meubles Rinck set up a cabinetmaking school: the Ecole de la Bonne Graine. Today located on boulevard Voltaire in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, in the furniture district near Faubourg Saint Antoine, the school continues to provide training in the woodworking trades. In the 1930s, Maurice Rinck, Eugène Rinck's son, understood the importance of the Art Deco trend and infused this style into the company's creations. He gave the House of RINCK its letters of nobility by working with the greatest designers of the time: renowned decorators and ensembliers (Ruhlman, Leleu....) commissioned and signed unique pieces, now part of the Group's heritage. In 1937, Maurice Rinck wins the gold medal for innovation at the Grand Prix de l'Exposition Internationale de Paris. In 1957, he was awarded the Grand Prix at the Brussels International Exhibition, tied with Citroën and its DS and with Christian Dior.
