Expert : Expertises Tellier, Paris / Marc-Henri TELLIER, CEFA member In 1985, Jean Olf Lammers made a documentary entitled Dolly van Dongen, fille et mannequin. His cameraman, Martin van Dalen (1932-2009), acquired our drawing from Mrs. Augusta van Dongen (1905-1992), known as Dolly, the artist's daughter. She signed the reverse of the sheet with the date November 9, 1985. After Martin van Dalen's death, the work was acquired by the director Jean Olf Lammers, who kept it for some time before selling it to a Dutch antique dealer. The drawing's current owner bought it from the latter.
