Louis XVI period RECTANGULAR COMMODE with cul-de-lampe opening to six drawers on two rows, stamped by Pierre DUPRE (1732-1799, received Master in 1766) in rosewood frieze with Greek fillet decoration, projecting uprights with simulated fluting on quiver-shaped legs. Front adorned with a cul-de-lampe. Marked by the Jurande des maîtres ébénistes parisiens. Blue-veined white marble top. 85.5 x 111.5 x 52 cm (reported)
