A Louis XV-period, canted GALBE SECRETARY stamped by Jean-François LAPIE (1720-1797, received Master in 1763) and Charles CHEVALLIER le jeune (ca 1700-1771, received Master before 1738) (in a drawer) in chevron rosewood frieze in boxwood fillet reserves and amaranth frames. It opens with a doucine drawer at the top, a dark green leather flap revealing 4 drawers and 5 compartments, and two leaves at the bottom. Marked by the Jurande des maîtres ébénistes parisiens. Red marble top in two leaves (reported). 132 x 64 x 35.5 cm
