Brass IRRIGATOR by Dr. Eguisier. H: 22 cm. Dr. Maurice Eguis - Lot 400
Brass IRRIGATOR by Dr. Eguisier. H: 22 cm. Dr. Maurice Eguisier invented this device, known as the Irrigateur du Docteur Eguisier. It enabled the practitioner to perform vaginal and uterine irrigations, without wetting the patient or her clothes. The injected liquid could be retained in the affected parts for as long as the patient or practitioner wished. This irrigator was certainly used for other injections: buccal, bladder and anal. It was also recommended in large families for irrigating spermicidal products (contraception). In particular, this irrigator was used to treat diseases of the womb. It replaced syringes and clysopomps.
