ANCIENT SENNEH RUG (Northwest Persia) late 19th century. Wool velvet on cotton foundation. Very worn velvet, natural oxidation. Midnight-blue field decorated with a geometric medallion in the form of a stylized shield inlaid with botehs and floral bulbs. Main border with multicolored stylized turtle shells. Dimensions: 205 x 140 cm
