STEAM TOY BOAT made by AUGUSTE YVARD circa 1880-1885, zinc hull with spur, painted bronze for the liston and the bright works, and black for the dead works. The deck is of varnished wood. The engine is oscillating steam, the boiler is present, the burner is missing. The rudder is adjustable on a notched rail. The companionways are protected by openwork brass railings. Length: 42.5 cm (Condition: "Out of the barn", missing and damaged). Note: Auguste YVARD produced toy boats with remarkable hulls. He was sometimes a subcontractor of the manufacturer RADIGUET who bought YVARD hulls to equip them with his own engines. Expert: Mr Philippe NEVEU
