Salvador DALI (1904-1989). The three graces, 1977. Bas-relief in bronze with Florentine green patina signed and numbered 31/150, stamped by the founder Airaindor. 69 x 58,5 cm. Genesis of the work: In 1976, Mario Pizzorni, collector and president of the Venezuelan mint Italcambio, signed a contract with Dali for the realization of 15 watercolors which will be then adapted in bas-relief, silver plate and bronze. The watercolor used to make the bas-relief is reproduced in the above-mentioned book under ref 527 (Italcambio collection). It is of course a Dalinian reinterpretation of Raphael's famous Three Graces. The subject was printed in two different sizes: 69 x 58,5 and 46 x 35,5 cm.
