The 2014 series of Euros "Values of the Republic" was designed by the cartoonist Sempé and is declined in four times three 10 Euro coins "Liberty", "Equality" and "Fraternity": spring, summer, autumn, winter. To illustrate these three fundamental values of the Republic, the artist Sempé chose the bicycle as a vehicle through a man (Liberty), a couple (Equality) and children (Fraternity).
